DaDesktop and Supported CPU Architectures (ARM and AMD64)

DaDesktop provides full support for the following CPUs, verified through automated build tests:

Intel and AMD x86 (AMD64)

AMD

  1. AMD Zen 2 (EPYC 7002, Ryzen),
  2. AMD Zen 3 (EPYC 7003, Ryzen)
  3. AMD Zen 4 (EPYC 9004, Ryzen)
  4. AMD Zen 5 (ES, QS)

Some customers still run Zen 1 (EPYC 7001) systems.

Intel

  1. Xeon E3, E5, E7 v3 or newer (Haswell)
  2. Xeon Scalable processors
  3. Core i5, i7, i9 based on Haswell or later

Xeon Sandy Bridge and Ivy Bridge (E3, E5, E7) seem to run well, though they are not part of our automated test coverage.

ARM

  1. AWS Graviton (1st through 4th generation)
  2. Ampere® Altra® Q80‑30 and newer
  3. Kunpeng 920 or later

Many other CPU models, most notably Apple Silicon, also perform well. Please contact technical support if you wish to evaluate your hardware.

RISC‑V

It should work without major issues, but we have not yet performed extensive testing.
