Training materials organization - Tighter linkage with instructor content, personal annotations, slide decks, and similar assets.
Auto Upscaling Desktop - Whenever a participant’s or trainer’s desktop runs low on capacity, the system should automatically allocate extra CPU, memory, or disk space without requiring a restart or pause.
Real time subtitles with translations - For instance, an English-speaking trainer teaching Japanese learners means participants could read Japanese subtitles on the fly (offered to clients who have opted into "Preview features").
Real time interpretation with AI - Japanese participants would be able to listen to live Japanese interpretation even while the trainer speaks in English.
Participant assistant - The platform guides participants through hands-on labs by suggesting the next correct action or pointing out mistakes right away when they appear to be stuck. Also referred to as the Participant Assistant Agent. (accessible under Preview features)
Statistics - Course coordinators and key stakeholders gain visibility into participation metrics.
DaDesktop for Work (DD4W)
Public Cloud - At the moment, DaDesktop for Work supports private deployments only. The plan is to open DD4W up to the broader public as a shared cloud service.
Better encryption integration - Presently, encryption setup relies entirely on the guest operating system. A deeper integration with DaDesktop, backed by a graphical interface, would smooth out the experience (so that, for example, a user wouldn’t need to type a password inside the machine since the system would already recognize their identity).
Auto-switch Remote replica - The system would either spin up or automatically find the nearest remote replica to cut down on latency and deliver a snappier user experience.
DaDesktop Labs/Self-study
The system provides ongoing feedback about a learner’s progress through a lab.
Creator studio - Lab authors can seamlessly edit recordings online and keep them in sync with lab instructions, desktop templates, and other supporting resources (already available in Beta).
