Organization Creation
When you first register, an Organization is automatically created under the same name as your username.
However, there are times when setting up a new Organization under your company’s name makes sense—especially if several users from the same company will be using DaDesktop.
Note: Only Super Admins have the ability to create organizations.

Setting Up Organizations in DaDesktop
You have two options for creating an Organization. The default method creates the organization along with its owner account simultaneously. The alternative allows you to create the organization without adding a new owner account—ideal if the account already exists.
Creating an Organization Alongside the Owner Account
- You'll need to provide the account owner's email, password, first name, and last name. You can assign roles as needed. The default currency depends on the portal: for example, dadesktop.com sets EUR by default, while dadesktop.cn, serving users in China, uses CNY.
- You must also provide an Organization name along with a short code. Keep the code brief, but note that it cannot be modified later.
- The Allowing course recordings and publishing settings apply to all recordings across the organization. The same is true for the Receiving Promotional Emails setting—this choice affects everyone in the organization.
- The 'Allow Recordings' option controls whether Recordings are enabled for the entire organization.
- If needed, you can choose Private servers. Just remember that a server must be designated as 'Private' before it shows up in this selection.
