Your office computers can be linked up to act as bare-metal nodes for DaDesktop. For this, you'll need specialized cables, which are available on sites like eBay or Alibaba. 

Potato（土豆）

Every physical desktop you connect to a DaDesktop node is referred to as a potato 

Potato stalk （土豆梗）

The cable and devices that link a potato to a pumpkin (the ddnode, or DaDesktop Node) together form what's known as a potato stalk (previously referred to as the ddkvm cable).

Pumpkin（南瓜）（ddnode，DaDesktop Node）

The server, known as the pumpkin, links to the potato via a potato stalk over a USB interface.
